Excellent restaurant area - meal for AV members very well. The one thing we were a little bit surprised is that they are marked as charging station for e-bikes but it's provided with only 5 charging inputs. For so many bikers its way too fee.
But the general rate is perfect!
Great place with a functional organisation for handling loads of people, well done! Rustic and charming with fantastic view. Owners fixed my shoes without complain, just a smile. Furthermore, hot day coming up so the manager sat down with hikers that planned to many hours walking in the sun. Explained and gave them hints and different possibilities, amazing engagement, a toast for all the personal.
Great experience on the Adlerweg. Professional and very friendly service, good food and amenities. Beautiful views, of course. A bit on the expensive side, perhaps.

A Hut offering baisc shelter. Cleanliness is OK. Dorms with 8 - 20 beds. Few toilets and fewer showers. Cold water through the taps. Dining area is quite nice. Food is fine. Long waiting for everything from toilets to getting your meals server. Understandable in parts as this is such a remote location meant to serve tracking groups..
This cottage is very nice and has good food! You might wanna Reserve during summer, cause it is very well visited. The host was great! Explaining everyone the weather conditions for the next day in the evening!
Everything available from drying room, changing room, bath, toilets, single person sleeping rooms and rooms for multiple people. People gather around after eating something and get information about the weather of the next day and general information about the routes from the owner.
One of the best mountain huts i have spend a night in. Its located in the middle of Majestic Karwendel Mountain of German-Austrian Alps. Rooms/Lagers were cozy. Its a also part of DAV so you get discount if you have DAV membership. Most important to me was the owner, he was so fun-loving person, was kind of joking in everything 😊 he is very experienced and helpful person as well. He rightly cautioned us about the weather on the next day. We listened to him and it was a great decision.
I loved my stay there and i am looking forward to go back there soon.
